Offer Details

Promotional Period: 1 November 2025 to 15 April 2026 (both dates inclusive)
Eligibility: Main accounts of “Local CourierPost” successfully opened with a valid Business Registration Certificate within the promotional period (sub accounts newly added under existing main accounts are not eligible for the offer)
Rebate Amount: A rebate of $10 for each eligible mail item posted
Maximum Rebate Amount: $1 000 per main account (equivalent to the postage rebate for 100 mail items)
Rebate-earning Period: The calendar month after a new account is successfully opened (e.g. A new account successfully opened on 15 November 2025 will enjoy rebates for mail items posted in the period from 1 to 31 December 2025. The final month in which posting mail items can earn rebates is May 2026.)

Rebate Mechanism

  1. Upon the successful opening of a new account, each mail item posted in the subsequent calendar month will receive a postage rebate of $10
  2. The postage rebate will be credited to the relevant “Local CourierPost” main account within two months after posting
  3. The maximum total rebate amount for each main account is $1 000 (i.e. up to 100 mail items)

Terms and Conditions

  1. This promotional offer is independent of and does not modify any existing arrangement for “Local CourierPost” service, including but not limited to the terms, processes or fee structures for pick-up service, and the standards of all delivery services.
  2. The base postage charge for the rebate-earning month will be calculated according to the tier rates applicable to the customer’s total posting volume. The fixed $10 per-item rebate will be applied thereafter, subject to a maximum total rebate amount of $1 000.
  3. All rebates are non-refundable for cash, non-transferable, and may only be used to offset future postage charges incurred under the same main account.
  4. Existing holders of “Speedpost” accounts are also eligible for this promotion provided that they have not opened any “Local CourierPost” main account before and successfully open one for the first time during the promotional period.
  5. Any items which are rejected for posting by Hongkong Post or being the subject of a dispute between Hongkong Post and the customers are not eligible for this promotion.
  6. Hongkong Post reserves the sole and absolute right to determine all matters related to the eligibility, rebate calculation, rebate disbursement and the like of this promotion.
  7. Hongkong Post reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions of this promotion without prior notice. In case of dispute, the decision of Hongkong Post shall be final.
  8. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

Remarks (for account customers):

  1. All items requiring returned delivery posted by account customers will entitle $4 discount per item for the returned trip.
  2. Standard weight limit per item is 1 kg.
  3. Maximum dimensions: length, width and depth combined: 900 mm, but the largest dimension may not exceed 600 mm. The item should be properly packed and made up in line with normal postal regulations. (If the item size exceeds the said requirement, customers may consider using Local Parcel service.)
  4. Items over 1 kg will be charged an additional of $16 per kg per item. Additional weight under 1 kg will be counted as 1 kg.
  5. For postings at mobile post offices, the maximum weight limit is 2kg per item.
  6. For postings at other post offices or by pick up service, the maximum weight limit is 5kg per item. (However, for items sent to or collected from the major areas in the New Territories B, the maximum weight limit is 2kg per item.)
  7. Pick-up service will not be available for any trip with 4 items or less.
  8. Minimum quantity for each pick-up trip is 5 items or above. An administration fee of $50 will be charged for each collection. This administration fee will be waived under any of the following conditions:-
    1. When the total postage for Local CourierPost items posted reaches or exceeds $1,600 in a calendar month, with 5 items or more in each pick-up trip, the customer will pay the total postage only and the administration fee will be waived. (See Scenario 1)
    2. When the total postage for Local CourierPost items posted in a calendar month is less than $1,600 but the total spending including administration fee for the account reaches or exceeds $1,600 in that calendar month, with 5 items or more in each pick-up trip, the total amount to be paid (including postage and administration fee) will be $1,600 and the balance of the administration fee will be waived. (See Scenario 2)
    3. When Local CourierPost and Speedpost items are picked up at the same time, the administration fee for Local CourierPost items will be waived for that single trip. The administration fee for Speedpost items will be charged according to its conditions of service.
  9. An administration fee of $100 is charged for each single trip if the actual quantity of Local CourierPost items is 4 items or less. The waiver conditions mentioned in clause 8(a) and 8(b) above do not apply to the total amount of administration fee charged for these trips

Non-account customers

Charges are calculated on a per item basis. Items posted over the counter will be charged according to the following table:

Pick up Local CourierPost items at any of our post offices (except mobile post offices) without having to wait for delivery. Perfect for those who prefer to collect their mail items at the time and the post office of their choice.

 

How to use the service

  1. Sender registers at the "EC-ship" online platform (ec-ship.hongkongpost.hk).
  2. Select Local CourierPost's counter collection service at "EC-ship" platform, input the email address or mobile phone number of the addressee, then choose a post office for collecting the item.
  3. Make online payment, print out the address pack slip and stick it on the mail item, visit any of our "EC-ship" acceptance offices * for posting the item, OR
    Select counter payment, print out the address pack slip and stick it on the mail item, visit any of our designated post office * for payment and posting the item.
  4. Do not drop Local CourierPost Counter Collection items into a posting box!

Service Standard

Items will be available for collection at the designated post office by its close of business on the next working day after the item is posted*. Addressee must bring along necessary documents to pick up the item from post office during office hours.

* Sender and addressee will receive our email or SMS notification when the item is available for collection at designated post office.

Item Collection Procedure

If the addressee receives an email notifying him/her that the item is available for collection, he/she has to set up a personal collection code via a hyperlink provided in the email. Please bring along a printed copy of the email notification, your valid proof of identity and the collection code to the designated post office to collect the item and sign for receipt.

If the addressee receives a SMS (with item number and collection code) notifying him/her that the item is available for collection, please bring along the SMS to the designated post office to collect the item and sign for receipt.
