After receiving a Mail Collection Notification Card, what documents do I need to bring to collect the mail items? Will the Post Office arrange a re-delivery or can I collect them from another post office?

For the following situations, a postman will leave a Mail Collection Notification Card for so that the addressee can collect the mail item from post office:

• Insured mail items;
• Mail items requiring signature for the receipt (including registered items, parcels, SpeedPost items, Local CourierPost items) but no one is present to receive them; or mail items addressed to a PO box;
• Oversized mail items; and
• Damaged mail items.

Post Office will issue corresponding Mail Collection Notification Cards according to the types of mail. The addressee can learn about the arrangement of mail collection by reading the card, e.g. the documents required, whether it is possible to arrange a re-delivery and transfer the item to another post office for collection.
