Dear Mail Collection Number (MCN) users,

A More Convenient Way for Using Mail collection
Service at iPostal Station and Post Office effective from
19 July 2021

Thank you for using Hongkong Post’s mail collection service. To enhance customer experience, registration for MCN is no longer required from 19 July 2021 onwards. What comes is to write down the mobile number of the recipient and the code of the designated iPostal Station or post office on the mail item for collecting mail at iPostal Station or post office which brings greater convenience to users.

The address format for the mail collection service is set out:

Mail collection can be made at all iPostal Stations and 121 post offices (except mobile post offices). When a mail item arrives the selected collection point, we will send an SMS message to inform the recipient to pick up the item.

The mail collection service is applicable to the following postal services:

Local mail services

1. Local Ordinary Mail (Packet);

2. Local Parcel;

3. Local CourierPost

Inward mail services:

1. Inward Ordinary Mail (Packet);

2. Inward Parcel;

3. Inward EMS;

4. Inward e-Express

Please cease using the current MCN by 18 July 2021 and inform your sender to follow the new arrangement when sending you mail items.
