According to Condition 30 of the licencee for the use of postal franking machine, for any prepayment made by the user of the postal franking machine (the user) to the supplier of the machine for remote crediting of value to the meter before 1 January 2020 but not yet converted in full into value to be stored in the meter by resetting, the user shall be responsible to do immediate resetting to convert the payment in full value to be stored in the meter.
According to Condition 27 of the licence, should the user fails to reset the meter to convert the entire payment into credit and that such failure represents a period of inordinate delay counting from the date of the relevant payment, the Postmaster General reserves the power to terminate their licence.
