Under what circumstances may a sender apply for a refund for an item? And how may a refund application be submitted?
- Refund of postage is applicable under the following circumstances:
- A shipping label is cancelled before posting. Please refer to above question for details;
- A sender pays for the estimated postage online, and the estimated postage falls short of the actual postage payable, resulting in an overpayment. The overpaid postage may be refunded.
- Please follow the steps below to proceed with applying for a refund:
- Step 1: Go to “Edit/ View Shipping Label” page at EC-Ship Online Portal
- Step 2: Click “Cancelled”.
- Step 3: Search for one or more shipping labels.
- Step 4: Click “View” against the shipping label.
- Step 5: Click “Refund” on “Payment Details” page.
The refund will be re-credited to the credit card account through which the payment was made within two to four months from the date of application.
