Where can I find the Post Offices or Street Posting Boxes? What is the opening hour of the Post Offices?
Location and Opening Hour of Post Office
- In Hong Kong, there are about 122 Post Offices (including 3 mobile Post Offices). The Post Office opens from Monday to Friday and Saturday morning. (Mobile Post Offices do not open on Saturday).

- All post offices (Except for General Post Office) will be closed on Sundays. For Sundays arrangement of General Post Office, please refer to the Regional Postal Facilities page of Post Office website.
Street Posting Box Location and Mail Collection Time
- In Hong Kong, there are about 1,000 Street Posting Boxes. Mail collection time is indicated on each posting box.

Delivery Service by Postmen
- Postmen deliver mails from Monday to Friday, only express delivery, viz. Speedpost and Local CourierPost services, will be available on Saturday. No mail delivery services will be provided on Sunday and public holidays unless it is so announced.
Opening Hours of Post Office during Typhoon or Rainstorm
In times of Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, special arrangements for post office counters and Post Office Box Lobbies will be implemented as follows:
