Notes for Freepost Service
1. Description of Service
- With the Freepost Service, your customers can respond to your promotions by simply quoting your Freepost number on the reply and no postage is charged. No pre-printed reply envelope is required.
- Even when a reply envelope is needed for your replies, there will be no restrictions on the format and design.
- There is no minimum quantity set for Freepost items.
- All Freepost items will be delivered to the address specified on the application form.
- Charges are only based on the number of replies you get and will be settled on a monthly basis.
- If any user of the Freepost service fails to receive any Freepost items within a period of three consecutive months, the service will be terminated and the user will be notified of such termination accordingly.
2. Method of Application
- The fee for a new licence is $98 . No deposit is required.
- Before using the Freepost Service, your application must be submitted for registration. The service will be provided to you within 3 days upon receipt of your application.
3. Design of Reply Items
- Freepost is only applicable for local mail items, with dimensions measuring 90mm x 140mm at the smallest to 167mm x 260mm at the largest and with a minimum thickness of 0.25mm.
- The maximum weight limit is 2kg for each Freepost item
4. Choice of Freepost Service
There are two types of Freepost Service:
- Standard Freepost with which respondents simply write down both the Freepost number followed by the delivery office identifier (except using P.O. Box as postal address) and the postal address of your company on the reply item. For example:
