Speedpost has continued to gain widespread recognition for offering a value-for-money postal solution for express delivery. It received the 2012 Express Mail Service Performance Award – Gold Level from the Universal Postal Union. For the fifth consecutive year, it received the award of “Hong Kong Leaders’ Choice 2012 – Excellent Brand of Logistic Services” from Metro Finance. It also won the Hong Kong Economic Digest’s “The Best SME Partners 2011 – Courier Service” award.
The Employees Retraining Board has awarded the status of “Manpower Developer” to Hongkong Post from 2013 to 2015. Hongkong Post is now among some 250 public and private organisations from 30 industries in Hong Kong which have received this accreditation. The award shows that manpower development is intrinsic to the corporate culture of Hongkong Post.
Hongkong Post’s effort in the pursuit of service excellence was recognised by winning the top award for the Government Departments and Related Organisations Category in the Next Magazine’s Top Service Awards 2012. A delivery postman, Mr. CHEUNG Fat-cheung, won the Best Staff Award 2012 (2nd runner-up) in the same competition. Hongkong Post also won the Customer Service Excellence Award 2012 organised by the Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence. A delivery postman, Mr. CHAN Chung-ming, won the Individual Award (Field & Special Service) – Silver Award in the same competition.
In February 2013, Hongkong Post received the “Web Care Award 2011-2013” from the Internet Professional Association across a range of categories, including Diamond Award for the Hongkong Post Stamps website, Ruby Award for the Direct Mail website, and Jade Award for both the Hongkong Post website and the Speedpost website. These awards speak for Hongkong Post’s commitment to enrich online content for our customers’ consumption and to ensure accessibility to online postal information and services.
