Awards and Achievements

Speedpost

For the 10th consecutive year, Hongkong Post achieved the Gold Level Certification in the Universal Postal Union Express Mail Service Cooperative's Audit and Measurement Programme for the excellent performance of our Speedpost Service. The certification programme is conducted by an independent auditor and covers more than 150 Express Mail Service operators worldwide.

Speedpost also received the following awards during the year for outstanding performance:

• "Hong Kong Leaders" Choice 2012 - Excellent Brand of Logistic Services" - organised by Metro Finance FM104
• "The Best SME Partners 2011 - Logistics" organised by Economic Digest.

Other Achievements

One of the warmest forms of community appreciation during the year came from a group of local primary school children who selected our team of postmen among the top ten most liked uniformed employees in Hong Kong in a competition organised by the Sing Tao Magazine Group.

Hongkong Post's team efforts in the pursuit of excellence were given recognition in these other awards:

• Hongkong Post Annual Report 2010/11 - Honors Award (Annual Reports - Non-Profit Making Organisations Category), 2012 ASTRID Awards
• Souvenir Sheet on the theme of "Redevelopment of Old Areas" - 41st Asiago International Prize for Philatelic Art - Ecology Prize
• Caring Organisation 2011/12 awarded by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service
