Hongkong Post continued to improve its performance in respect of its logistics service. Whilst maintaining quality services in the areas of warehousing and stock management, pick and pack and local delivery services, the logistics team introduced pre-appointment services for parcel deliveries across different time slots, including night-time and public holidays. We have also included value-added services such as import and export declarations, import licence applications, cross-border transportation and freight forwarding services.
By leveraging our comprehensive delivery network and infrastructure, we are now providing fulfillment services for e-merchants dealing with lightweight products, receipt and despatch services between government offices, departments and agencies and between libraries facilitating the exchange of returned books.
We actively promoted our internet shopping mall ShopThruPost in overseas markets through collaboration with overseas postal administrations. During the year, ShopThruPost was introduced on the websites of Guangdong Postal Corporation, Japan Post, Vietnam Post and Russian Post.
