We leveraged on our core competencies and public trust to develop one-stop e-commerce solutions.

Developing Logistics Services

We provide clients with warehousing and logistics services from our Logistics Centre, which is Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) certified. We have expanded our business by collaborating with China Post Logistics Co. Ltd. (CNPL) in delivering computers and peripheral products throughout Hong Kong. Our wide scope of services includes warehousing and stock management, pick and pack, scheduled local delivery, online order tracking, import and export declarations, import license applications, cross-border transportation and freight forwarding.

Leveraging on our delivery network

Our comprehensive logistics network and delivery fleet continue to support the government’s receipt and dispatch services, such as inter-library exchange of books and exchanges of documents between various offices, departments and agencies. In addition, we provide fulfillment services for local e-merchants for lightweight products such as cosmetics and small electronic devices.

Booming e-commerce business

Over the past five years, we have witnessed the rapid growth in e-commerce and benefited from the resultant strong rise in outward airmail traffic. Seeing such rapid growth in e-commerce and realising the downward trend of conventional postal business, we leveraged on our core competencies and public trust to develop related one-stop e-commerce solutions to capitalise on business opportunities. We partnered with different postal administrations in different collaboration models to facilitate delivery of small packets to overseas markets, cross-border direct marketing, international fulfillment services and related logistics services. In addition, we revamped our online shopping mall, ShopThruPost, to prepare for the soft launch of a “one-stop e-commerce solution” for e-merchants to meet their demand for additional sales channels and e-marketing tools.

Riding on the e-commerce business boom in the midst of the economic turmoil, ShopThruPost recorded 65% growth in revenue, accompanied by a 29% rise in the volume of transactions in 2009/10.
